Who we are

Qasd is an Android app made by Kahf (Kahf Labs, “we”), an independent software lab in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Questions about this policy go to hello@kahflabs.com.

What Qasd keeps

  • What you write into it: areas of life, goals, projects, tasks, habits, planned blocks, focus sessions, inbox notes and your weekly review answers.
  • Your account: the name and email address from Google, or the email address you sign in with, so your data can be synced to you and only to you.
  • Settings: language, theme, focus defaults and reminders.

Qasd does not read your contacts, photos, location or other apps. It contains no advertising code.

Where it lives

  • Everything works on your phone first. A copy is synced to your own Qasd account, so a new phone picks up where the old one stopped.
  • Your data is encrypted and synced only to your account. Nobody else can see it, and we do not look at it.
  • Sync over mobile data can be turned off; then Qasd syncs on Wi‑Fi only.

What we never do

  • Sell your data, or share it for advertising.
  • Show ads, or send marketing notifications.
  • Use your plans to train AI models.

The assistant brief

If you use “Brief for an assistant”, Qasd writes a summary of your map and the last 14 days on your phone. It goes only where you paste or share it. What that assistant does with it is governed by its own policy.

Taking it with you, and deleting it

  • Export: Account and sync › Export backup saves everything as one JSON file.
  • Sign out: removes your data from the phone. Your synced copy stays in your account.
  • Delete your account: write to hello@kahflabs.com from the address you sign in with, and we delete the account and its synced copy.

Children

Qasd is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date, and material changes are noted in the app’s release notes.
